Hi.

Welcome! I am a California girl who has lived in Scotland and Mozambique - follow my adventures here!

Snapshot: A Day in SF

During my winter break, I spent a day with my grandparents in San Francisco. It was a nice day, a sunny but brisk day, full of fun and loved ones. Here are a few favorite shots from the afternoon.

A curly tree trunk pointed out to me by my Grandma

Sunlight shining through thin green leaves

A little garden near the Fog City Diner

A flower bud, which also looks like a stuffed olive or a bird

After walking around with my grandparents, I met my dad in the Ferry Building. We wanted to get a latte, "the best in San Francisco", according to him, but the cafe closed at 3:30 (what kind of cafe does that?) and we missed it. Instead, we worked together in his office for a while and then took the ferry to Alameda, where the Desert Wolf was parked. The back deck of the ferry allowed for some great photos of the bridge and the water.

Golden Gate Bridge

commuter bikes (I think...)

Cranes and the light on the water

When I got home, these little ones were waiting for me as usual.

It's nearly impossible to get a non-blurry photo of them, but I like how in this one they are mirroring each other's posture
