The weather has been pretty bad here lately, with two storms so big they have been named, some sleet and snow and rain (simultaneously), and some 70 mph wind. These conditions make training (both football training and running) outside not very fun. Yesterday I was walking home through the Meadows, staring at the ground so the wind wouldn't blow ice into my eyes, when I saw these little yellow crocuses sprouting (rather miraculously) out of the cold hard ground. Could it be that spring is on its way?
I know these photos are of despicable quality, but can you see the yellow spots?
