In January of this year, we bought a little plot of land, 40 square feet. When we bought it, it was a field of cassava, which is an edible plant. We paid in full and signed off the papers of ownership and talked to the chief about buying it, and in February began the slow process of making it ours. So far we have cleared the crops, planted a small citrus orchard, fenced it off, and put in flowers - bouganvillias and other creeping flowers, as well as passion fruits and grapes. Eventually, we plan to move onto the land and build a house, but for now, here is an update.
After removing the crops that were growing here before. There is our biggest orange tree in the center of the photo.
After clearing the land
Laying the foundation and the wires for the fence
Watering the plants while burning some brush led to a pretty dramatic shot
The fence is now complete
