About a month ago, I went out with Edinburgh University's Photography group to take some pictures of steel wool lit on fire on Calton Hill. Imagine our surprise when, upon arriving on the hill, fireworks began exploding around us. It turns out that there was an Indian festival being celebrated at the same as we had planned to take our steel wool photos. We happily enjoyed the show and then got on with our project.
