I got back to CA in early May, just in time for my mom's birthday on May 13, and decided to maker her a surprise dinner (with my sister) of teriyaki chicken made in pineapple bowls. I saw the recipe online at buzzed recipes. It's really quite a simple recipe - make rice, chicken heated with brown sugar and honey and sesame seeds, and then hollow out some pineapples and serve the food in the freshly made bowls.
