Snapshot of Daily Life
Things continue to be slow here. I am still plugging away at my editing and online teaching work, and have gotten big into my jam, jelly, and marmalade making as well. Our garden is growing, the weather seems to be slowly getting warmer after the winter solstice last week (June 22nd), and we are already almost into July. Here are some photos of what life has looked like here in the past month.
Tomato plants grow like crazy on our plot.
Of course, we always have the obligatory masks.
A small flock of 11 chickens have made our front porch their home. Every morning Jay throws them a breakfast of anything he can find at hand, and he can often be found clucking to them.
A little sunbird in our garden .
Our flowers have been growing nicely, and attracting loads of butterflies.
And we have our first bananas!
Full moon over the Indian Ocean.
